Appeals

A separate route for challenging decisions

Members should be able to appeal specified decisions such as suspension, removal, credential refusal, downgrade or conditions imposed after a complaint. Appeals should be handled separately from the original decision where practical.

Grounds

Procedural unfairness, material factual error, disproportionate sanction or new relevant evidence.

Review

Appeal reviewer or panel considers the decision record, evidence and member response.

Outcome

Decision may be upheld, varied, returned for reconsideration or overturned.
